Ali Tsosie-Harvey

Communications Specialist 

Ali Tsosie-Harvey is Ts’ah Yisk’idnii Dine'é (Sagebrush); born for Shash Dine'é (Bear People); Her maternal grandfather is Naashgalii Dine'é (Mescalero Apache); her paternal grandfather is Tódích’ii’nii Dine'é (Bitter Water People).

 

Ali is from Haystack ("DziÅ‚ Lichii"), New Mexico, in the eastern part of the Navajo Nation. With a bachelor's degree in Family Studies and Human Development and a minor in Native American Studies from the University of Arizona, Ali brings a strong foundation to her work. During her time as Program Coordinator at the University of New Mexico Division of Community and Behavioral Health, she helped establish the communication strategies for the T.R.I.B.E.S. Grant and contributed to the recruitment and education of tribal behavioral health professionals across New Mexico, Arizona, California, Montana, Nebraska, and Minnesota. Ali is honored to bring her creativity, organizational skills, and passion for environmental justice to support Diné C.A.R.E. while upholding Diné ways of life and traditional teachings.
